Tokyo, May 19, 2025 — The supernatural world of JUJUTSU KAISEN is returning to the stage this summer as the official stage adaptation announces its fourth theatrical production, set to debut in Tokyo this August and Osaka in September 2025. This upcoming installment will bring to life one of the manga’s most emotionally charged arcs — Hidden Inventory / Premature Death, which dives into the complex past of fan-favorite characters Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto.
Building on the explosive success of its previous runs, this new production continues the evolution of JUJUTSU KAISEN The Stage, which first debuted in 2022. The series has progressively adapted some of the manga’s most iconic storylines, including the Kyoto Goodwill Event, The Origin of Blind Obedience, and JUJUTSU KAISEN 0.
Ryosuke Miura and Rei Fujita, who portrayed Gojo and Geto in the third production, are confirmed to reprise their roles, adding continuity and depth to the portrayal of these pivotal characters. A new teaser visual has been revealed on the production’s official website and X (formerly Twitter), showcasing the duo from behind — a subtle yet powerful nod to the secrets and sorrow explored in this arc.
Returning to lead the creative direction are Kohei Kiyasu (writer) and Kensaku Kobayashi (director), both of whom have been integral to the success of the series since its theatrical inception. Their continued involvement promises another visually immersive and emotionally resonant experience for fans.
Details regarding specific performance dates and ticket availability are expected to be released soon, so fans eager to revisit the bittersweet origins of Gojo and Geto’s relationship should keep an eye on official updates.
Ethereal Page will keep you informed as more information becomes available on performance schedules, visuals, and behind-the-scenes insights from the production team.
Stay tuned for more news from the world of JUJUTSU KAISEN and other stage adaptations that continue to bridge the gap between anime and live performance.
