A Glimpse Into the Past

Based on Gege Akutami’s popular dark fantasy manga, this film compiles key episodes from the Hidden Inventory and Premature Death arcs. Before Gojo and Geto stood on opposite sides, they were once close friends and classmates. This story dives into their early days at Jujutsu High, revealing how their mission to protect Riko Amanai—the vessel for the Star Plasma—would set them on a path of no return.

As they face threats from a secretive cult and dangerous curse users, their beliefs, strength, and friendship are pushed to the edge. What begins as a duty will ultimately define their future—and reshape the fate of the Jujutsu world.

The film is produced by TOHO Animation and animated by the acclaimed studio MAPPA, known for their stunning and intense visuals. For those who want to catch up or revisit the story, the JUJUTSU KAISEN TV anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
