Mika Yamamori’s romantic manga In the Clear Moonlit Dusk (Japanese title: Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki) is officially getting an anime adaptation! A new website launched on Friday to announce the news, revealing a teaser visual, key staff, and the main voice cast. The series is set to debut on TBS in January 2026.

Rei Ichinomiya and Ryōta Suzuki lead the cast, bringing to life the complex high school dynamics at the heart of the story. Yūsuke Maruyama at East Fish Studio is directing the project, with Ayumu Hisao (Kono Oto Tomare!) handling the series composition. Yuki Fukuda (Insomniacs After School) is creating character designs, and Tsubasa Ito (I May Be a Guild Receptionist) is composing the music.

Published by Kodansha USA, the manga centers around Yoi Takiguchi, a tall, cool beauty often mistaken for a boy due to her striking looks and deep voice. Nicknamed “Prince” by her classmates, Yoi has always been seen as more of an icon than an individual—until she meets Ichimura-senpai, a charismatic boy who manages to look past the image and see her. Their connection sparks an emotional journey between two “princes”, discovering their true selves.

The manga began serialization in Dessert magazine in 2020, and the ninth volume is scheduled for release on May 13, 2025. It has earned critical praise, placing 11th on the 2023 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! List for female readers.
